Pia Kranholdt Season 2024-25

2024-25 Honors — Named to the Dean's List during the fall semester.  2024-25 — Posted a 12-11 overall record in singles and a 15-12 doubles record... 15 doubles wins were tied for second on the team... played at Nos. 4-6 positions in singles and primarily at No. 3 doubles... went 8-6 at No. 5 singles line and had a 5-4 record in Big Ten play... had a 12-8 record at No. 3 doubles... posted a 2-3 singles record and a 3-2 doubles mark with Nikita Vishwase during the fall... won one singles and two doubles matches at the ITA Central Regionals.

2023-24 Honors — Big Ten Sportsmanship Award… CSC Academic All-District selection… ITA Scholar Athlete… Academic All-Big Ten… Big Ten Distinguished Scholar… Dean’s List honoree during fall and spring semesters. 2023-24 – Posted a 12-13 record in singles, going 7-4 at No. 4, 0-2 at No. 5 and 2-2 at No. 6… earned singles wins in team victories over No. 34 Illinois and No. 75 Nebraska… had a three-match winning streak to open Big Ten play… posted 10 straight-set victories… recorded the most doubles wins (16) and most dual doubles victories (12)… had four doubles victories during the fall season.

2023-24 Honors – ITA Scholar-Athlete… Dean’s List honoree during spring and fall semesters. 2023-24 – Posted a 10-13 overall record… had six dual victories, including four Big Ten wins… had a three-match winning streak in March, beating conference opponents from Michigan State, Nebraska and Purdue… posted singles victories in final two matches of the season (Indiana, Illinois)… registered seven doubles victories — six on court three and one on court two… five of seven doubles wins were against Big Ten competition… was runner-up in singles and doubles at the Watanabe Classic in the fall.

High School — One of the top junior tennis players from Germany… had a top 100 German Women’s Open ranking… won a doubles title at the German Junior Nationals… won multiple Women’s Open tournaments with victories over several players inside the top 100… high school team won the German national title and represented Germany at the World Championships.

Personal — Born Feb. 13, 2022… daughter of Uwe and Carola Kranholdt… has an older sister, Pascale… majoring in psychology and sport and recreation management.
